I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Journalism at Northwestern University, and I’m maintaining this news blog for a New Media Storytelling class. I did my undergrad studies at Northwestern as well, and I plan to pursue a career in magazine editing after I graduate in June. I love traveling, fondue parties, speed boats and Wisconsin cheese. About this blog…
In this blog, I’ll examine how psychology is treated and covered in the mainstream media. I’ll analyze and explore how the media affects public understanding of mental disorders, and I’ll include interesting research in the field. And if things work out according to plan, I’ll provide a little entertainment in the process.
